Paris is the home to haute couture and synonymous with some of our fashion muses, including Caroline de Maigret and British-born Jane Birkin. So, for spring-summer 2019, it should not come as a surprise that Paris did not disappoint.
Before we get to our fashion picks, there were some notable events that came out of Paris, including Hedi Slimane making his creative director debut for Celine and Chanel took us to the beach, which came after the brand announced their purchase of British swimwear brand Orlebar Brown.

So much fashion so little time.
Esteban Cortázar
With a mix of swimwear, daywear and nightwear, designer Esteban Cortázar brought his ss19 collection to life during PFW for his namesake brand. We are liking the muted color story, along with some pops of more saturated colors. All of this plays out amidst a a black and white storyline that ties all of it together.

Isabel Marant
Isabel Marant is a designer having a great year, especially after having recently unveiled her makeup capsule collection with L’Oréal Paris. And, the French designer once again nailed the runway. We love!

Agnès B.
We got to hear from designer Agnès B. when she spoke at New York City’s French Institute Alliance Française. She was humble, genuine and loved what she did. Since then, we were hooked on her and her namesake brand. As we would travel, we would stop into her boutiques, and when she showed a new collection, we would check it out. For ss19, she takes us from the life of the party to classic and demure. We appreciate the range and want something from every part of the spectrum.
