The 2019 Tour de France route has been announced. The 106th edition of the Tour is set to go through Belgium and France, visiting the Belgian regions of Bruxelles-Capitale, Flanders and Wallonia and 37 departments of France. It will make a return to the Tourmalet, which is the most climbed mountain in the history of the Tour at 82 times. And this year, it will also prove as the finish to Stage 14.

Here are some additional highlights of the 2019 Tour:
- 7 flat stages
- 5 hilly stages
- 7 mountain stages and 5 mountain-top finishes (La Planche des Belles Filles, Tourmalet, Foix Prat d’Albis, Tignes, Val Thorens)
- 1 individual time-trial stage
- 1 team time-trial stage
- 2 rest days
