Men’s Corner
A Tale of a 1950 Jaguar XK 120
“People who know the history of racing know of my father Walt Hansgen [who raced in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France, among other events],” shared Rusty Hansgen to WSJ’s A.J. Baime. “He was among the first generation of road racers in the U.S. after World War II. He often competed in a Jaguar XK 120.”
Hansgen continued, “At its time, it was the highest performance production car available. I don’t think many people would dispute that. It was also a Trojan horse that introduced Americans to European sports cars and road racing, in the early 1950s.”

Of course the brand is working to promote its latest Model 3, although, we are liking how they keep the Airstream appreciation alive.
