Pendleton Woolen Mills – More Than Wool

Pendleton Woolen Mills caught our attention because the brand exudes a lifestyle that meshes very well with that here at MalenDyer.

Before we get to the snaps, which tell a story all of their own, let’s share some information about the brand.

Pendleton Woolen Mills is a family-owned business and has been for 150 years.

The brand produces 100% pure virgin wool clothing and owns and operates seven mill facilities, manages 75 Pendleton retail stores and publishes apparel and home direct mail catalogs.

Plus, Pendleton Woolen Mills has a surf collection!

Yeah, we are borderline obsessed with this brand.

Time to see what we mean…

Grab a fresh brew, your (soon to want to purchase) Pendleton blanket and get ready for the day – starting by reading MalenDyer, we are certain.

Otter Fun Fact: According to the brand, “In the ’60s, a group called The Pendletones (later known as The Beach Boys) made the California surfing scene – and their favorite surf shirt – famous.”

“Their uniform was a blue and charcoal plaid Pendleton shirt, now known as the Pendleton Board Shirt. The band wore it on covers of 45 records and albums, including Surfer Girl and Surfin’ Safari.”

A classic style indeed, as it still works today…

The image sums up an Otterlicious day oh so well…

Before we close this article out, we need to leave you with a short film on “The Making of the Pendleton Limited Edition Surfboard.”

Be sure to check out the brand for more surfboards, apparel, blankets and so much more.

P.S. The brand even offers tours in two of their mills! We love.
