Doutzen Kroes has teamed up with Canada’s Holt Renfrew to bring awareness to the Elephant Crisis Fund in a new Knot My Planet campaign.
Holt Renfrew commented, “The #knotonmyplanet campaign began as a social media call to action to bring awareness to the ivory poaching crisis by paying homage to one of the elephant’s key characteristics: their memory. To remember something, we traditionally tie a knot, and the campaign turned this practice into a pledge asking everyone to tie knots as a way to remember the elephant.”
The Candian retailer continued, “It also encouraged everyone to donate money to the Elephant Crisis Fund, a joint venture between the Wildlife Conservation Network and Save the Elephants. Together, we can ensure this crisis does knot continue to happen on our planet.”
The campaign was captured by Chris Colls with makeup by Sil Bruinsma, hair by Panos Papandrianos and the elephant brooch by Tiffany & Co..

We have been keeping an eye on footwear brand Beek for some time, and they have unveiled their first collaboration, which is with Vitamin A.
The California-based brand shared, “We’ve teamed up with fellow Southern California brand Vitamin A Swimwear, to create a collection of sandals perfect for the pool, beach and all of your warm weather adventures.”

Jonathan Skow, the Los Angeles-based designer of the Mr Turk collection, shared with WWD, “Jonathan Adler is a good friend of mine and like me, an avid swimmer. Whenever we’re on vacation together, a good portion of the time is spent talking about beaches, swimming and swimsuits. Last year when we were visiting his beach house on Shelter Island we came up with the idea to collaborate on a capsule swimwear collection.”
Skow added, “We came up with some sensational suits that will be sure to get you noticed at the pool party, beach or barbecue.”
