As we spent last weekend basking in the Caribbean sunshine, we are going share some top highlights from not only this week but ones from last we are still talking about.
Here we go!
Models
Tyra Banks
The model took to social media to share some news.
“The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”
Congrats to the happy family!
Cindy Crawford
Cindy made waves when her interview with Rhapsody because she alluding to her retiring from modeling.
“I’m sure I’ll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore. And that’s OK. I’ve done it. I’ve worked with all these incredible photographers. What else do I need to do? I can’t keep reinventing myself. I shouldn’t have to keep proving myself. I don’t want to.”
The model then took to social media to clear up any confusion.
“Every year, I tell my kids I’m retiring. It’s a running joke in our family. And yet every year, opportunities pop up that really excite me. While it’s true that I’m eager to shift my focus a bit to concentrate on my businesses, friends and family — I’m not making any final statements (not all headlines tell the whole story!). I have loved being part of the fashion industry for the past 30 years — and if that time has taught me anything, it’s this: never say never. Thanks for all the support, I’m so excited for what 2016 holds! xo Cindy”
