The New York City Ballet enlisted photographer Peter Lindbergh to bring to life its 2016/2017 campaign.
Dancers featured in the campaign, include: Rebecca Krohn, Teresa Reichlen, Taylor Stanley, Emilie Gerrity, Unity Phelan, Amar Ramasar, Lauren King, Preston Chamblee, David Prottas, Harrison Ball, Megan LeCrone, Adrian Danchig-Waring, Mimi Staker and Alexa Maxwell while styling was by Julia Von Boehm with hair by Odile Gilbert, makeup by Stephane Marais and set design by Colin Donahue.
These black and white images were taken on the grounds of a country home in upstate New York, and as you know we have a soft spot for ballet – Paul Giggle’s 12 Natural Wonders, Russian Ballet 2016 and A Little Ballet and A Little L.A. – you can imagine our excitement when we heard the New York City Ballet tapped the one and only Peter Lindbergh.
