We are finally admitting it, we love The Hamptons!
Those of you who have been following us for awhile know that wasn’t any new revelation.
As we keep a tab on what’s happening on Long Island, there was an estate that caught our attention.
Maybe it was the $85,000,000 price tag?
Could it have been the size – 5.7-acre estate with nine bedrooms and 11.5 baths with a 24-acre equestrian facility and two restored barns?
Or, that it’s an oceanfront property with hundreds of acres of adjoining oceanfront reserve?
Maybe we are overthinking this, as it could be as simple as the history of the estate, according to Douglas Elliman who have the listing.
“The estate was built in the early 1930’s as a ‘fishing camp’ by the Church family (makers of the Arm & Hammer baking soda fortune). Subsequent owner Andy Warhol made the compound famous frequently entertaining a host of luminaries including Jackie Onassis, Mick Jagger, Elizabeth Taylor and John Lennon.”
“The oceanfront compound boasts two restored barns (combined 29 stalls) built by Carl Fisher (of Miami and Montauk fame).”

Yeah, we’d have to say it was all of these points.
Hope you enjoy the snaps of the estate, which is at 16 Cliff Drive & 8 Old Montauk Highway Montauk, New York.
We would say this Otter Living at its finest.
