While we were in Europe for Fashion Week, we were able to capture some models coming in and out of the shows. We not only enjoyed seeing what they were wearing in their model “off-duty” mode, but it was also nice change to see the models as individuals with their own style front and center.
For this Model Street Style series, we are kicking this two-part series off with a look back at London Fashion Week. While we were in this British city, we were at a handful of shows, although, for this edited selection, you find the comings and goings of models predominately from Victoria Beckham‘s 10th anniversary show and Ricardo Tisci‘s debut show for Burberry.
In this look, we are loving the oversized glasses. We saw these over and over again. In this case, you see the larger rims, although, as long as the glass is large – you can find a frame to fit your personality.

A mix of high fashion and athleisure with trends folded in, such as with the Prada belt bag, while sticking to classics, such as with the denim jacket, is seen here. This mix and pairing of the unexpected is what we are loving, and these models own this look.

An oversized blazer. Yes, as simple as that, and this looks goes from a basic Tee and jeans to a polished look. This look is simple, yet, pulled together. Done!

Denim on denim has not gone out of fashion. Here, we see this trend elevated with the pairing of white and black denim. This is one way to elevate denim.
Denim returns! Although, the standout piece for us in this look is the Fendi bag. It takes the look to the next level. Having an accessory that is an investment pieces allows you to wear it over and over again. In this particular case, our eyes are on that bag, allowing you to go all black on your look or simply keeping it basic. Let the accessory do the work here.

Louis Vuitton on the top and Nike socks with platform combat boots on the bottom. We mentioned the mixing of high fashion with athleisure earlier and this look reinforces that statement. One other call out is how a simple pop of color can pull the entire look together.
What makes this look a standout? Yes, it is a sweatshirt paired with jeans, although, it’s not “just” a sweatshirt. The ripped detailing on the sweatshirt offers it some personality. As the jeans are rip free, we are loving the juxtaposition of this look.

A classic button up dress shirt. Well, not quite. This model is showing off her personal style with the rolled up sleeves and the open neckline. She is making this look her own.

P.S. In regards to the featured image, it was the striped sweater that pulled us in. Stripes are a classic look, although, this model is wearing this sweater off of the shoulder and has the ability to pair it with her coat. Layers – now those are great for fall.
