We enjoy starting our day with a little motivation, and we have 26.2 miles of motivation for you today. Model Chase Carter is set to run this year’s New York City Marathon, and she shared some insight into her training.
“If you have a swim shoot coming up, you obviously go down on the sugar, the carbs, whatever it might be,” the Sports Illustrated model told Page Six. “With the marathon, I don’t think I’ve ever eaten so much in my life. Since I’ve been running so much, I don’t really think about what I’m eating. Obviously, I’m not eating bad food, but the amount of food has definitely increased.”

Chase added, “I’ve always tried to stay athletic throughout my modeling career…This summer, I really went hard into double workouts every day. And all of a sudden, I was like, why stop now? Why not try for the New York City Marathon? So I’ve just been picking up my running, and I think I now run 25 to 26 miles a week. I’m really trying, but it’s difficult.”
