Inside Swimwear Brand Triangl

We love learning about swimwear brands, the behind-the-scenes scoop, as we know there is so much that goes on that we don’t see. The end results, the lookbooks and the ad campaigns, are great but learning more offers the opportunity to have a greater appreciation for the brand.

Pages Digital recently interviewed Triangl, an Australian swimwear brand, that was founded by Craig Ellis and Erin Deering.

On the beginning,

Obviously we wanted to launch with a triangle bikini (as per our brand name!) as I loved this shape the most and knew the most about it. We wanted to start with the most classic bikini shape, and then work from there introducing new styles, based on what our customers were telling us they liked and didn’t like – without compromising our own concept and direction of the brand.

On their favorite fabric…

Neoprene, obviously! We can’t get enough of this amazing fabric, it not only looks amazing on the body, but it is so comfortable and holds its shape so well. It does a great job at smoothing every body part and stays on in the water, holding its shape and structure better than normal Nylon swim fabric.
