Georgia May Jagger has taken the modeling world by storm, including fronting April’s British Vogue with Suki Waterhouse and Cara Delevingne. Certainly having Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger and model Jerry Hall as parents can’t hurt.
The model opened up to Beauty Editor about what she has learned working in the industry, from makeup to skincare tips to her thoughts on using Photoshop in today’s industry.
She spoke to the publication that her must-have beauty items include mascara, red lipstick and moisturizer because she has “really dry, English skin.”
Georgia May also spoke about her maintenance program.
I get my hair done every three months. I go for facials, like, twice a year. I’m not really a facial person. If I’m going to get a treatment, I’ll get a Shiatsu massage. I just had acupuncture for the first time. It’s amazing. I didn’t think I believed in it, but I’m really converted now. I was asleep instantly.
In regards to how it’s important to realize that even those you see in glossy mags aren’t perfect in real life, the British model emphasized how “it’s not necessarily like you wake up that morning or every day and you’re like that.”
“To be honest, I’ve seen girls with huge acne breakouts and all kinds of skin problems. Girls are human. It’s not as they imagine it to be. It’s a lot less glamorous.”
The interview was refreshing and authentic. Be sure to check out the full article at Beauty Editor.
