Aguaclara won us over during the 2018 edition of Miami Swim Week. The Peru-based brand paid attention to the details, which sets them apart from other swim brands. We loved their use of feather trim, embroidery and tassels. As for the prints showcased by the brand, there were some highlights for us, such as their palms, tribal and mosaic prints. Even when the brand showcased basics, such as styles in black, they added visual excitement through cuts and again with the details.
The brand’s creative director, Liliana Villalobos, was inspired by the Amazon jungle for this collection – specifically the blue lagoon in Tarapoto and of course the Peruvian Rainforest jungle. With the use of exceptional fabrics, such as crude linen, Italian silks and gauzes, you can expect this collection to feel as wonderful against the skin as it looks.
